Well.....

So I am doing my best to get back into an art swing and I am slowly getting there.  Currently working on an art trade with a good friend of mine.  I am drawing Matoi from kill la kill for him.  I finally started coloring today and am using copic markers and soft chalk. 

so here is the start so far.

I did start Marches portrait of the month which is Miyavi.

B.A.P. concert!!!!

Well the concert has come and gone and now it's time to play catch up with the artwork!!!  My sister and I had a great time, I would love to see them in concert again!!!
My t-shirt was finished before the concert!!!!!

I played off of their tour idea and added them on the space ship in their outfits from one shot!!!
Other than workin on this I haven't really done anything which is awful to say.  It has been hard to do artwork with working so much... so I am going to try and finish two projects a month.... This way I won't feel so stressed out, and that way you guys get to see something every month...

well I am going to clean up my room a bit!!!

B.A.P concert stuff!!!

Sorry I did not post last weekend we were out of town visiting some family friends.  So this Sunday I have pictures of all the things I have been working on.  so I did a scrunchie with all the members names from B.A.P.

So that is the front and I started designing the back

Just working on the poses right now and how I want them to look..  but I hope to have three of them completely finished tonight.

Now the the last thing I have to share with you is my Sorceress of Time. 

She is finally all colored and hopefully my mom can scan her in tomorrow as I do not have a scanner big enough to do so.  the rest of the background will be done in photoshop!!!

Been working hard

So I have been working very hard despite being sick this week.  This week I have a lot of work in progress pictures for you!!!  Which for me is exciting cause the means I got stuff done this weekend.

My next print that is in the works is all inked now and I started coloring the border as I try to figure out my light source.  So here she is.

 So here is the full image so far.  I feel that my light source will be coming from behind her and it will be a light magenta or toned down fuchsia color.

Here is what the top looks like..  though I feel I should do the transition to the darker blue green on the fancy designs in the middle there.  we will see...  I plan to start coloring her sometime this week along with my portrait of the month which is Miyavi, starting on him tomorrow!!!!

Next is my Zelo pendant.

He didn't quite turn out how I wanted so I think I am going to do it again...  but it does look better in person.  the camera doesn't really do it justice either. 

And last but not least is a family portrait I have been commissioned to do.  I feel a bit intimated by this project, because there is just so much to do in this picture. 

So hopefully I can get it done soon!!!!

Next week look for, my B.A.P t-shirt and hat!!  Also hope to have my portrait of the month done, along with my print pretty much finished!!!

B.A.P side projects

Okay so my sister and I are really excited for the B. A. P concert in April!!!!  So for the concert I decided to make a few things for it.  Here is the first project,

My favorite member of B. A. P is Zelo so I have a little chibi drawing in the works of him and then I will put his name above him.  The next image is of course their awesome logo, and because Zelo's color is blue I painted the background in blue watercolor.
The other two projects will be a t-shirt and a hat!!  So I will keep you posted on those as well.

Now for the main project.  I didn't get her finished mostly because of finding out about the concert, so here is what I have done on my large picture.

As you can see I finally came up with a design for the border.  I did pull from some online sources, and I will have those listed once I finish the picture!!!  The second picture is a a close up of my inking..  which I like to think is improving.

Well, I was not very motivated this weekend I will be honest but I did work on my other print featuring my Sorceress of Time.  I am finalizing the drawing right now.  So here are some work in progress pics.

So the first image is a full body shot.   The last two are more detailed shots of her outfit and staff.  Currently working on a border right now and hopefully she will be done by next week, then I can get the background in and have a print available by the end of the month.  Yay!!!

Etsy store in the works!!

For all of you who read my blogg I have talked about getting an Etsy store.  Well during the week I will be getting things ready,  writing descriptions, taking measurements on pieces, and getting prints made.  I am also in the middle of finishing up some old projects and coming up with ideas for prints and hopefully I will have a few done in time for August so I can see about getting into the Ohayocon Artist Alley.  It has been a dream of mine to start selling at conventions, however I never thought my artwork was good enough and I still think I need a lot of practice yet to be as good as some of my friends but I will continue to work hard!!!

So for this week I really only have one piece to show you right now!!!

Here she is my Sorceress of Time.  I have yet to come up with a name for her yet, but I am thinking of something in Latin possibly.  Haven't quite decided yet.  She is done all in copic marker and gel pen.  I used soft pastels for the background!!!  This will be my first print too.  So please tell me what you think. 

Next week I will have a link to my Etsy store and some work in progress pictures of a family portrait, and two art trades, and hopefully a fanart piece as well!!!!

Weekends

Well I must say having the weekends off has it's benefits.  I seem to be able to focus more than I did during the week and a lot more work is getting done.  So today I have for you my portrait for February, Tom Hiddleston.

I think he turned out rather well!!!!  I still need to work on hair but I am beginning to understand how I should go about certain things so it has been a good learning experience!

next is some work in progress pics of my lady with the hair.

The first pic is a close up of her hair piece which I changed the colors on.  the silver was done in gel pen and the rest of the image was done in copic markers.  currently waiting on some refills to come in so I can finish shading her skin and hair!!  I think the background will be done in shades of green.  Mostly light green.

Well that is all for now.  Hopefully I will have more up for next weekend.  Also will be opening up an etsy store next weekend.  This picture should be done by then, I will have a print of this up for sale!  Will also have woodburnings up for sale as well!!!!

Projects are slowly coming along

Okay so today I have a few images to share with you.  First off here is my woodburned box I am working on.

 The top is coming along.  I have to finish the water yet... though I am afraid it is getting a little busy... but I do plan on adding a little color to the top that will hopefully make the characters pop a little more

so each side has a sakura flower on it.

Next is my Sorceress of time.  I have her drawn and inked and hope to start coloring in the next day or so.

I did all of the inking with a .005 micron pen. plan to color her in copic markers.  

Last but not least this months portrait!!!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and a great valentines day.  I spent mine alone and at work.  Not that it really bothers me that much anymore.  Fun fact.  I have never dated in my life, why???  Well I was always considered the ugly girl at school.  So I kind of gave up on ever really having a love life, so recently I have been doing a lot of couple pictures lately.  Maybe once I get myself headed in the right directions with life I can start dating....  Not that i really know anything about the topic?  Oh well.

New Job!!!

So I recently got a new job!!!  Yay!!!  Which has helped me a lot mentally, and has boosted my confidence a little bit.  It is only a factory job, but right now I feel more mentally stable and happy!!  It is only the first week though, so we will see if that last.  So that means a lot less time for art but I am gonna give it a week or two and see what I am comfortable with and decided what I can do during the week.  So mus of my art will done on the weekend along with my posting.  Will post mostly on Sundays as I still have to work every other Saturday at the moment.
So January's portrait was finished pretty much on time and here it is.

New Job!

I apologize for not posting again, this time I was applying for a new job and I hope to start soon as my last day at my current job is on Friday!  I am excited and very nervous all at the same time.  Hopefully all goes well and the change of my sleep schedule will be fairly easy. 
Also my sister and I went to Ohayocon an anime convention in Columbus Ohio this past weekend.  Had a good time and got to see some of my good friends from college.  

Anyway my update day will probably change to the weekend or whenever my days off are going to be.

Also I have been working on my box however I am having a hard time figuring out how to do the water in the back so I am doing a practice piece first.  Yes she is nude so please if you don't like it don't look at it.  everything is covered or heavily shadowed so you don't see anything.

She is almost done, once I get her done I need to figure out what to put in for the background.  hmmm...

working hard

So I have been very busy trying to to do artwork and other things this last week or so.  My day consist of reading a vol of manga, 1 chapter of a book, 1/2 hr of exercising, and then I break up my other projects based on the time I have.  Plus I do sketch a day and I am slowly seeing things that I know I need to focus on more.  Such as posing and composition, eyes, and eyebrows, and realistic hair..

So first project I want to show you is my box that I am woodburning at the moment.

So this is my big project right now.  I have my oc Hana and Sakata Gintoki (Shiroyasha) in this picture.  This was just a cheap box I picked up at Hobby Lobby, on a whim and thought it would be fun to burn.  I have the drawing around and I want to fix it up and color it in marker later. 

Next is some of my sketches that I have been doing,  Just some of my random characters.  Thought it would be good clothes and pose practice for me since I need to work on those two things!

So here is a character number one.  she doesn't have a name yet but she is a sorceress that can control time.  I really like and can't wait to draw her more.  So keep your eyes open for her!!!

This is a close up of her face.  I really want to do this piece bigger and in color..

And with every amazing woman you need a pretty cool guy to go with her.  Not sure if he will have magic or not.  Haven't decided yet.

One more sketch.  Of course I have to include my own sailor scout,  had fun drawing her the other day.  Really tried working on my posing with this one!

Here is a small project I finished of my Elf.  She belongs on the High Elf Council and her element is water, snow and ice all that stuff!!!  Done in water color pencil and acrylic paint!

Last but not least is my portrait for the month.

He's not turning out to bad but I really need to work on hair.  So I know what I will be practicing for a while!!!  Well I hope to have more up on Wednesday!!!

I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season, I know I did!!! 
So here are some more pictures of things I am working on at the moment and some stuff that I finished.
First up is Ike.  I had been working on him like crazy and now he is finally finished.  Got him done right before Christmas.

 

I hope he looks good.  I am really happy with how his jacket turned out!!!

So my goal this year is to do a portrait a month.  My next one is Tao from EXO-M

 

It looks really rough right now but hopefully once I get all the shading done and part of his face fixed it will look more like him

Today I also did a quick sketch of a random character I designed.  Here he is.

 

I really had fun drawing him and it was a quick little drawing!!!!

Let's see what else have I been working on.  I think that is it for now.

So hopefully you guys will be seeing a lot more from me.  As I plan to really start focusing on my artwork and trying to make a career out of it, as that is what I went to school for.
